Growing up I hardly knew who my father was. Certainly I did not know of his reputation as an artist outside of Red Lake. I spent most of my time on McKenzie Island with my brothers and sisters.

I now live with my sister ,Victoria , who has taken on the job of keeping the family together.

There are many children in the family: 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren by true blood line. We are all interested in the importance of my father's work to the Native People of Canada. My father came home in 2002.

I attended the symposium at the Red Lake Heritage Society and I think of that Museum as the location for The Woodland School of Art.
